‘Abd al-Husayn Mu‘azzaz al-Mulk (Taymurtash)'s letter to Surur al-Saltanah along with the envelope. Mu‘azzaz al-Mulk talks about the prevalence of the flu in Tehran his hope that Surur is feeling better, suggesting to her to keep warm and use quinine and to send the rest of her illness in an envelope to him. He is hopeful that they soon find a good house, and if he could not find a place in a few days, he would ask Nayyir al-Muluk so they could stay in their quarters for a while. Correspondence of Surur al-Saltanah and ‘Abd al-Husayn Mu‘azzaz al-Mulk (Taymurtash): on the first page, Surur al-Saltanah writes to Mu‘azzaz al-Mulk complaining about not getting a letter from him and explains her good intentions regarding her previous remarks. On the second page, Mu‘azzaz al-Mulk expresses his happiness on receiving a letter from her, mentions that he had been miserable when Surur had stopped writing to him, and he is so happy now that he is writing this letter while in bed with a fever and will send it with one of the orderlies in the morning.
